Starting To Bundle Up for Winter
It is now starting to get colder and colder. Which means it is time to gear up for old man winter. I tend to gravitate towards a lot of wool this time of year, finding any way I can to bundle up in the cozy material. Of course, a couple of wool sweaters are a must in everyone’s closet. It took me some time to realize the difference between a 100% wool sweater and a synthetic/acrylic material. But once you experience both for yourself and compare them, you quickly come to realize how warm and durable a wool sweater is. It is always the superior choice and quality that is worth investing in. I often try to find vintage wool sweaters but brands like Toast catch my eye too. Their unique designs and British styles really stand out and make for a unique, sophisticated, and timeless choice for any wardrobe. I would love to add a few toast sweaters to my wardrobe this winter.

My Obsession For Toast Sweaters
I really love the style of a fair isle sweater that I bought from Toast. It is a fitted sweater that isn’t too bulky and it is easy to tuck into pants or skirts. And this color combination is unlike any other sweater I have seen before. I fell in love with the obscure colors because it reminded me of the in-between season that we are in right now. In between the end of fall and the start of winter. I can always sense the weather shifting when we are in-between seasons. And the world around us starts to turn a different color. Whatever was once vibrant green is now a dark olive-brown color. And the berry color reminds me of stumbling upon random bushes in the dead of winter covered in winter berries. These plants are always the most mysterious discoveries. And makes me appreciate the unique shades of color that they bring to a winter scene. Although I miss the colorful world of full-blown summer. There is still something special about nature in the wintertime.

The Jeans I Am Loving Right Now
I also just bought these black jeans from Madewell. I have become very particular when it comes to the style of my jeans. Skinny jeans were always part of my wardrobe but I have recently decided that they are way too unflattering on my body shape. Plus I would much rather wear a wide-leg style because it lends so much more movement and comfort. These new slim wide-leg pants are a perfect in-between style. They are slightly wider than a straight leg style. And they have a high waist which I am always buying when it comes to any pants or skirts. They will be a great item to wear all winter long. I haven’t had much luck finding jeans that are sustainably made so if you have any suggestions I am all ears!

Another item I bought from Toast is this beret. They always have the best fall and winter clothing that is worth a look!
